While working on my own Land Rover project, one of my frustrations was working out what fixings I needed, not just for the part I was working on, but parts I will work on. You can buy Nut and Bolt kits, but they are expensive, you can buy nuts and bolts from some of the established suppliers, but again, they are expensive, especially when I can buy the same from a specialist supplier for much less.
If your not worried about the right items, not so much of a problem, but I wanted my restoration to be as close to original as I could.
I got to thinking, what if I could convert the PDF version of the parts list into a searchable list that I could use to see exactly what I need, cutting down on small orders and not paying sometimes extortionate prices for “official” parts. So I did! took a while and a little bit of IT skill and a fair dose of magic, I now have the entire parts list digitised, the below sections are snippets of that list that I hope will be useful for others also.
I have password protected these pages for now. I spent a lot of time and effort creating this data, and need to find a way to protect my efforts from being copied not for personal use. I will release it again as soon as I find the right way to achieve this.
